When do we recommend this product?

  • It is recommended for the prevention and treatment of deficiency in calcium and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), which are essential for bone formation and normal bone metabolism, in patients at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.
  • It is also recommended for vitamin D and calcium supplement as an adjunct to specific osteoporosis treatment of patients who are at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.

Why do we recommend this product?

  • Calcium and vitamin D3 supplementation counteracts the increase in parathyroid hormone (PTH) production caused by calcium deficiency, which leads to increased bone resorption.
  • Combination product; each film-coated tablet contains 600 mg of calcium and 800 IU of vitamin D3.

Dosage:

The recommended dose for adults and the elderly is 1 film-coated tablet daily.
